
Dakota Turner-Johnston
BSc (Kin), MPT, AN-IMS/Dry Needling, CSCS

Dakota earned his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Western University in 2021 following a Bachelor of Kinesiology & Health Science from the University of British Columbia in 2018. He has completed various post-graduate courses, including his level II certification in manual and manipulative physiotherapy through the Canadian Orthopedic Division, certification in Anatomical Neuropathic Intramuscular Stimulation (AN-IMS/Dry Needling), and designation as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Additionally, he’s completed advanced training in running gait analysis and performs running assessments at the clinic.
Dakota has been actively involved with BC Rugby, UBC Varsity Athletics, and a wide range of endurance athletes, providing dedicated care and support over the years. He’s also provided on-site medical coverage as a team therapist at Provincial and National level events. Beyond sports, Dakota has extensive experience working with post-surgical patients, workplace injuries, motor vehicle accident rehabilitation and everyday individuals. His well rounded approach to treatment includes education, exercise, manual therapy, dry needling and running gait retraining.
