Matthew Richardson
BSc(Kin), MPT
Matt graduated with a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Western University in 2022 and completed a Bachelor in Honours Kinesiology from McMaster University in 2019.
Matt enjoys treating clients of all ages and activity levels. He has a wide variety of experience treating people from the general population, varsity athletes, seniors, post-surgical, and motor vehicle collisions.
Matt grounds himself as a compassionate leader whose passion is to help patients understand and navigate their pain experience and return to the activities that matter the most to them. Using an evidence-based approach, he prioritizes his patients preferences and goals by actively listening to them. Matt empowers his clients to reach their rehab goals through an individualized treatment plan that involves a combination of education, progressive therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy (soft tissue release and joint mobilizations).
When Matt’s outside of the clinic, he enjoys watching and participating in volleyball, basketball, tennis, spikeball, snowboarding, weightlifting, and hiking.
