Plamen Marinov

Plamen graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy from University of Sydney and holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an active health and rehabilitation emphasis from Simon Fraser University.
Plamen’s treatment approach focuses on patient centered care, collaboration, active rehabilitation, self management, and effective listening with the aim of discovering what goals are most meaningful for you to achieve. He believes that each of us presents with a unique story and challenges that require individualized approach to treatment. With this in mind, Plamen strives to carefully select the most optimal exercise program based on your needs and ambitions.
In Australia, Plamen had the pleasure of working with various athletes and sport teams. He was also involved with elderly rehab, treatment of neurological conditions such as stroke and Parkinson disease, as well as motor vehicle and work-related injuries. Plamen is now certified in Modern Dry Needling known as anatomical intramuscular stimulation. He has a special interest in tendon related injuries, rock climbing injuries and return to sport following ACL reconstruction.
In his spare time, Plamen competes in various tennis tournaments across BC, enjoys working out, swimming and rock climbing.
